FAQQ: What is this zine about?
A: Danmei Ok!! is an NSFW only danmei zine. Works from all danmei fandoms are accepted, although we highly encourage a mix of mainstream and lesser known danmei fandom creators to submit their work.Q: What is meant by a "regular publication zine"?
A: We plan to release zine volumes multiple times a year as digital PDFs. If there is enough interest, we would also love to create physical zines, NSFW merch bundles, or zine anthologies as p4p sales!Q: How will tagging and trigger warnings work for this zine?
A: Every story published in our zine will include tags, similar to the tagging system on sites like AO3. There are rules about which content is generally allowed. Once every few volumes, we will have a "Hardcore Edition" zine volume for more intense subject matters and tags. A: A user's work can be published under a screen name or as simply "anonymous", but we need at least one functioning method to get in contact with all creators.Q: Where can I apply to be a contributor?
A: If you want to be a writer or beta reader, please fill out the "Writer Application" form on the home page. If you want to be either a merch artist, page artist, cover/ centerfold artist, comic artist, or work on small details like page breaks, please fill out the "Artist Application" form on the home page. If you are interested in submitting a recipe, please check out the "Chef Application." We also have three mod positions currently available.Rules for Creators1. 2. We accept a mix of both previously published works and works made specifically for this zine. We will generally give priority for people who apply to draw or write something unpublished for this zine.
3. If you are submitting a previously published work, please indicate it on the application form.
4. If you are applying to write a unique piece for our zine, please indicate whether or not you have other creators you wish to collaborate with. If you are applying as a solo creator and wish to collaborate with an artist/ writer, we can pair you up so long as you give us permission on the application.
5. Be respectful of others. Don't discriminate others based upon race, gender, sexuality, religion, ethinic background, etc. (This includes whitewashing... it's not respectful, so please don't do it.) This entire rule can be summed up as: Be kind! We're all here to have a good (thirsty) time!
6. In general, please keep works lighthearted. We aren't looking for any heavy angst or tragedy.
7. Additionally, each volume will have a theme. Please produce works in line with the current theme, as indicated on the applicant form. Moreover, please produce works in accordance with whether or not a given volume theme is a hardcore edition.
